Guess he should have left it where he found it.

I sent them an earful in an email. If it's legal, I'd send them a box full of dog sh*t via snail mail becuase that's what they are as an organization.

Send him a weapon other than a gun, so he'd violate his own policy for having a weapon at work. Granted, his secretary probably opens the mail.
That's weak! The guy was only trying to do the right thing. I hope he gets his job back.
I'm hoping so too. It seems suspicious to me that he was just two years away from retirement and they did this. I know Wayne Co. is strapped for cash. Can't say for sure, but I'd be curious to find out if they did this so they wouldn't have to pay his pension on retirement.
