New Burdick interview/ was protecting students from fringe gun nuts

After Ms. Burdick was caught in the back pedal and lie, her anti-gun efforts are reported to have stalled completely this session. In that regard, she has failed in her goal and liberty survives one more battle.

I do not know why she keeps getting re-elected other than pure party line votes. Those opposing Ms. Burdick in several election cycles now have put up some good candidates and it is disheartening to see her returned to office each cycle.

With a bit of luck, this lie this time could be her undoing. But, she has a couple years to bury the trail.

At least she admitted what we all knew, which was that she lied about why she cancelled the town hall. Of course she lied again by saying that it was because she didn't want to subject the students to the dangerous gun people, but that is normal politician behavior. Cover one lie with another. She should have told the truth, which was that she didn't want to take the heat from her constituents about her crazy gun-grabbing ideas.

Nanny Burdick knows best. How dare the public seek to know what she's up to? Only the government should know what is going on in every citizen slave's life.
