New report: More than 14.5 million now licensed to carry

A new report from the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC) says that there are now more than 14.5 million Americans who are licensed to carry across the United States, an increase of 1.73 million newly-armed citizens since last year's report was published.

The thhing to. Take away is the number increased 1.73 million in just one year. I have had mine since early 91.

Well you have to figure that some of the most populous states have very few lucky, connected ones deemed worthy for a permit. And you also have to take in to account the rising number of states full of lucky people who aren't required to have one.

I expect the number of citizens carrying will increase. It does with every mass shooting just like gun sales increase. The Director of the FBI stated that the attacks we are seeing overseas ARE coming to America soon. In the majority of the overseas countries getting attacked, the citizens are prohibited from carrying or even owning firearms. At least for now, we still have the right to defend ourselves and our children.
