Midway usa sucks?

I think what the OP is complaining about is not about high shipping cost, but about Midways unwillingness to hold a shipment until a BO part arrives.

With the number of orders that MidwayUSA processes, holding orders might be a logistical nightmare. On the other hand Amazon will do that for orders filled thru them so who knows.
I will never (again) BO a part through Midway unless it's something I can't find elsewhere. I use the "notify me" feature when it's in stock, although that doesn't always work well since they fill the BO'ed sales first and may not have anything left over on the next shipment.
