I'm thinking we should BAN all 4 slice toasters, they are twice as likely to catch on fire and kill people! Guns don't kill people, its the person pulling the trigger. Make sure we all unplug the toaster.

These people do not even understand the very concept of self control! They were never taught self discipline, or any other kind. And now, we have generations of the vapid losers whose knees jerk on command, lead by the most cunning socialists ever!

0bf.jpg Nambu I agree. I have been reading on this site for a while and finally joined, still figuring out how to do this. Forgot to ad my toaster meme

And I think you guys are overreacting it's only an "arsenal"
In the eyes of the media if they know you have it. If you don't go shooting up concerts or get caught selling drugs it's just a gun collection. If you do do something criminal three BB guns and a sling shot are an "arsenal"

Yes, but it still PO's me to be constantly demonized by people with the IQ of a jellyfish!

Never heard of a bump fire stock until this mess, definitely adds fuel to the anti-gun fire.

You don't need the special stock to bump fire a semi auto. Just makes it easier. Banning these won't prevent anything. By the way, these have been around a while. Most people can't afford the ammo to keep feeding them. Helps if you are a millionaire.

I remember a guy having 1000 rounds of .22lr on the news and they made a huge deal of it, an arsenal. How stupid.
At the time around 2005 that would have been about $30-$45 worth of ammo. The media manipulations and fear mongering have no boundaries.

The anti-gun pressure is not new. John Browning was so concerned by it in the teens and 20's that the last gun he designed was the magnificent superposed shotgun. He said it would be the last gun the anti gun crowd would go after.......it was unfinished at his death. The design was finished by his son Val that I met several times while living in Utah.

Exactly right brother.

It's similar to fear of heights; fear of heights has also been described as fear of jumping. These people are not afraid of guns, they are afraid of themselves.
Not quite right. I am terrified of heights. More specifically, terrified of falling. It stems from a time teenage me was climbing a mountain and on ice that gave way and almost fell over a massive drop. (2000 ft I believe) I am terrified of heights. But almost falling off a mountain, skidding on ice, stabbing knife into ice and catching your foot on a boulder right before the edge changes your perception of heights. I am terrified of that ledge giving way again.

In much the same way, some people are right to fear themselves with guns, not because they are malevolent, but rather flighty. I do know someone (pro 2a) who doesn't carry because they believe they lack the requisite focus. I can respect that.

Heaven forbid, he might have been on his way to the range...

Well he goofed up either way, as the rifles appear to be 80% lowers that were finished by him. That itself isn't the issue. The issue is he made them select fire. That's a big no-no.

I say we all buy more guns and ammo this year ignore the bubbleguming media and keep fighting the good fight!! I know that I want more and will buy untill my wife says stop my kitchen can't hold anymore!!

There will always be fear mongers and I for one will not let them dictate my life!

PS I bought four lowers yesterday just because I can!! :D

Nobody that has the brain capacity to form a cohesive thought, gives the media any credibility these days. They have been caught with their hand in the cookie jar so many times in the last few years, they are seen as a laughing stock by anyone with an above room temp IQ.

Half a dozen new p-mags for the AR and a bunch more M855, love BiMart sale, 54.97/150 plus .05/round kickback from Federal, brings the final price down to .33/round for greentips... :D

Correction, nets out to .32/round
