Which is exactly the point. More than 10 rounds may well be necessary in the most basic of home defense, much less on the street.

Half the CCW people I know don't carry more than one magazine and in an emergent situation like this one, you may not have TIME to get a second one.
There's a reason so many of us advocate the AR-15 as a home defense weapon. Stopping power and Capacity.

No to use Joe's methodology you have to stick the muzzle outside and fire both barrels in the air.
