I heard today that only 28% of the US voting public believe climate deniers should serve jail time... pheww, that's a big relief.

Seriously, that nearly 1 in 4 think this is reasonable is troubling. Fascism is quickly overtaking racism in America. While in Chicago this past week on business, I was surprised to see not one, not two, but three TV ad's from the NRA during prime time evening. I'm surprised Mayor Rahmbo has not found some way to restrict such hearsay.

Actually, the only thing about the Paris new clip is that would be better would be to hear that the Clilarmist in Chief was taken by the no good doer's to help them reduce the carbon footprint of their caves and bunkers.

It is going to end up far bloodier than that. CNN is now confirming at least 60 confirmed dead, and in excess of 100 being held hostage. This body count is going to get high.

And they hit such high profile targets: the biggest sports stadium where the national soccer teams of France and Germany were about to play. And the music venue they hit was also one of the biggest. The US rock group The Eagles were one of the bands performing.

They are reporting 3 to 4 shooters at both the restaurant and the music hall. And they all appear to have had fully automatic AK-47's, which are totally illegal to possess in France.

The French President is even talking on TV about the police making mass arrests.

Reports now of another attack (#6) at a shopping mall near the center of Paris - no more news than that at the moment.

The theater attack is over. Police raided the theater and the shooters are dead. Reports from folks that escaped the theater are reporting that they saw a lot of people dead inside the theater and is not yet part of the total death toll.

One more update - police have instituted what amounts to marshal law - it was just reported that police/military are now allowed to enter any home with no restrictions.

Amazing how quickly a city can go from a relatively free city to under the thumb of the military in only a few hours. Sounds kind of like Boston.
