So is my automatc loaded if there is a loaded mag inside, or does there have to be one in the chamber? What about a revolver? If the hammer sits on an empty is it considered loaded?

Most jursidictions define a loaded magazine inside the gun as loaded.
A revolver with a bullet in any chamber is considered loaded.

If you look at the car carry laws ANY rounds in the gun means it's loaded.
    Doesn't have to be chambered

Depends on if you are in Utah.....They consider a clear chamber "unloaded"! You are able to carry with a full mag though.
