I've heard some say we couldn't withstand the force of our own military. I see two issues with that:

1. I firmly believe most of them would uphold their oaths and refuse to act against the citizens of the US in violation of the constitution.

2. There are far more retired, trained, and likely pissed off at the government military vets that would also, by a large majority, I believe, be fighting on our side.

The only real question would be if it would last 2 days or 3

I believe the police would side with us as well. Just a hunch but I'm guessing no longer than a week and a lot of the country would go unscathed as most of the fighting would happen in certain parts of the country.

I think the answer to that question is who "They" send to collect! I would think it would be a combo of forces from various agencies and contractors as well as a small number of select Nat.Guard who have been indoctrinated to the cause! There are
Hundreds of Thousands of Vets, ( at defacto war 30+ years,) and likely most will uphold the Oath, so that makes for a very large force of resistance, and with in that group, a very highly skilled number that specialise in just this sort of thing! Where it goes side ways is the civilians who choose to resist outside of this ( within both camps) that becomes a problem, collaborators, needful traitors, and opportunists who will gun up the works and drag things down! Ultimately, I see it ramping up pretty good, then grinding down to a slow burn while the various powers make a play for positions of power in the "New" order! Dangerous times, keep your head on a swivel, and eyes and ears open!

If you folks haven't seen it yet, look at what Illinois is close to getting through as law - not only preventing 18-20 year olds from buying guns, but creating a mandatory turn-in of guns they already own.

When the anti's say "no one is coming for your guns" they are lying - and this bill proves it. Spread this story everywhere you can. They are coming for our guns, one step at a time.

Flash forward to Thursday. Lawmakers in Democrat-controlled Illinois have passed a bill to — you guessed it — confiscate currently legal firearms from gun owners. So much for being paranoid.

According to Breitbart News, HB 1465 has moved to the state Senate after being passed in the House a week ago. The measure would require citizens between the ages of 18 and 20 to give up ownership of certain guns that they bought legally, or risk becoming seen as criminals.

"The guns and magazines remain legal for persons 21 and up, but persons under 21 would have 90 days to give up ownership," Breitbart explained.

I think actively confiscating those legally owned guns is going to get shot down in the courts.

Problem i see, if this goes on the book's, what's to stop a all out war before it even sees the inside of a court room, let alone heard by SCOTUS! Dangerous times my good friends, this is the play the antis are hoping for, get it on the books before it sees a challenge in any court, make it damn hard to undo once it's did! Imagine it actually being heard after the fact!
Wounded how many turn coat Sheriffs will comply, vs those who will say sorry, not going to happen! Maybe you all should start contacting them and asking them point blank where they stand on all this, sure makes it real easy to identify an enemy before the shoot'n starts says me! As long as I can read the County Badge through a scope, I'm good! Lol, or not!

I suspect the NRA-ILA is already preparing a request for an injunction. This has national level repercussions, so I expect it to be blocked, initially, before it can go into effect.

Actually, the case there in OryGun carries some pretty big repercussions as it sets president going forward! I also see the possibility of the NRA-ILA steppng in (hopefully) and that in it's self carries some pretty big things beyond just the gun issue, I would like to see the retailers really dried out and drained financially to fight that fight! Pretty dam bold move says me, guess we will see what happens, but knowing OryGun, it's going to be a big show! I have often thought OryGun would be a big player in any gun fight, and who knows, this may be the match that lights that fuse! Wonder which States decide to preempt with similar moves against a young persons rights! Any one care to bet Kalifornicatia will be a player?
