"The only way we can truly be safe and prevent further gun violence is to ban civilian ownership of all guns. That means everything. No pistols, no revolvers, no semiautomatic or automatic rifles. No bolt action. No breaking actions or falling blocks. Nothing. This is the only thing that we can possibly do to keep our children safe from both mass murder and common street violence."
Safe from street Violence ! If they got their gun laws passed that they want, the bad guys that cause the street violence will still have their guns. Mass murder! they don't think a car bomb or some other kind of bomb won't cause mass murder.
They have to be in a drug Induced dream world or they are brain dead in that part of the brain that does reasoning in reality.

The Brady Bunch plan is to do exactly that, one step at a time. Start with AR's and so called hi cap mags, then chip away until all firearms are banned. Too bad the majority of gun owners who only own hunting and home protection handguns are not aware of this.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. At least I can show Feinstein's latest proposal that would impact those less vocal and dedicated.

Telling someone who sold a gun out of financial neccesity they will have to register and pay a few hundred dollars for the remaining ones works well.

For those who actually believe a gun ban isn't coming in 2013 and then registration and eventually full-on attempt at confiscation ....
