It's true. Even when someone we don't know dies of a foolish nature, we often vent in anger or humor in order to verbalize our frustration with the situation. Given a choice, I don't think anyone on this forum would allow anything like that to happen if they had the power to stop it.

It does suck and it's a horrible way to die in front of someone and a foolish loss that his family will have to deal with for many years. I'm sure many of them are confronting their own anger toward their loved one at this time for doing something so foolish that took him away from them, for loss is often felt by others through the needs which they no longer get fulfilled by the lost loved one.

Events like this not only show some of us the seriousness of handling guns, it brings into perspective why it is important to show your kids and your loved ones proper handling and respect for firearms.

It is an awful situation; however, we can use this opportunity to teach and vent our own frustrations with those who make the firearm community look bad.
