Help Wanted with Chronny

This is an appeal to anyone willing to help me validate my chronny. I've tried unsuccessfully to develop a 308 load, partly because I am unable to trust my chronny readings. They seem too slow (~200 fps).

I am a member of the TCGC and test my loads Saturday mornings. I'd like to know if there is anyone out there willing to set up his/her chronny in tandem with mine for a handful of shots.

Setting up another chrono beside your own will work.

Also, I usually take a 22LR pistol each time I go out. Shoot the pistol over chrono first to check if its working correctly and shows a good speed. Its cheap and does not burn up your test loads.

I have placed two chrony instruments, one behind the other for such testing. As they are only about 2 feet apart, this is a good method.

However, if you shoot one, you will get the other, too. Twofer sale, anyone?
