I was told by Oregon Rifleworks that the new Wa laws had not changed the way they do business with Oregon residents.Washington - Washington purchases after July 1.
What’s keeping 2 Washington residents from going to Oregon to do a private long gun transfer? I suppose if it's not a semi-automatic assault rifle that might work, but it would work in WA as well, not sure why there would be any reason to try the transfer in OR.www.northwestfirearms.com
I was told the same by another FFL in Oregon. But my regular FFL said he wasn't going to do transfers of semi-autos to WA residents any more for fear of Feds yanking his license. It seems that there isn't a clear cut answer to this situation so many FFL's are erring on side of caution.I was told by Oregon Rifleworks that the new Wa laws had not changed the way they do business with Oregon residents.
Best,
