Why don't these morons try enforcing the 4 gazillion existing laws that we already have on the books? The new definition of criminal is "a politician".

Given the rabid stupidity combined with voracity of this administration, I don't see any grandfather clauses or other "outs" being part of any of these bills. Given the Rino's willingness to bend over for the democrat party, and both party's willingness to bend over the American people, I would suggest that we make our voices heard loud and clear NOW, or start adding "becoming a felon" to our list of preparations.

Because more "laws" mean more "felons". They don't care about stopping crime. They want everyone in fear of becoming a felon. By labeling everyone a felon/terrorist/enemy-of-the-state, tyrants give themselves the "authority" to do anything they want to the people and claim it is "legal".

I guess the politicians are dead set that......
We should forget about the CRIMINAL(s) and punishing criminal behaviors.
And instead......focus on punishing the law abiding?

Is the Bill number you quoted correct?
I don't believe it is. I've updated the original post. I had grabbed Bill number from another site and it doesn't appear to be correct. Rather, this appears to be a collection of several separate bills all making their way through the process. I updated the first post with the reference to each bill. Sorry for any confusion. :)

Again, typical politics where the political elite think they are smarter than us lawful gun owners. The ironic and maddening part is how many of them are protected by those same instruments we use as an armed society to protect ourselves. Rules for thee, but not me mentality. What a screw for the American people...

It is clear that Brandon Potato Head is a lot like a shart, and for all the same reasons. Sometimes you are thinking it's only hot air, then... oops!💩

UPDATE 6/1/22: I initially listed this as "HR7010" as I grabbed this info from another website that had it listed as such. I can't verify that the number is accurate so I've removed it. This gun control package actually seems to be comprised of several separate bills making their way through the process. I've added the list of these bills below, as taken from the printed description in the video itself. Sorry for any confusion...please don't kill me. :)

Gun control package moves forward...

The video is a bit long and I'm not real wild about the YouTuber but it's good information. I've also pasted a rough summary of what appears to be included...note that this was thrown together fairly quickly so if I got something wrong, please don't kill me. :)

Looks like the big ones are a national ban on "high capacity" magazines and ghost guns. There is a grandfather clause so you get to keep the mags you already got. But if this continues to progress, you can expect there will probably be a run on magazines. Might want to get a jump on that if there's anything you want but don't already have, and you think there's a chance of this piece of crap passing.

Text of bill...

Rough Summary:
* Semi-auto rifle / Semi-auto shotguns for 21+ years old only
* Ban straw purchases as gun trafficing
* Add legal definition of "ghost gun"
* Ban sale, receipt, and possession of any ghost gun
* Ban engraving serial numbers
* If have minors or prohibited persons, must store guns in safe or use safety device, or carry on person
* Ban bump stocks
* Ban large capacity magazines, with grandfather clause

I feel so much safer already! Of course that is the objective right! Feel good legislation that sounds good from the political podium! :)

As Braden on Langley Outdoors Academy (YouTuber) has stated - and I'm likely paraphrasing:

"We have to do something, that will do nothing, to say that we did something that won't do anything." Pretty much sums up the Left at any crisis point involving firearms.

And they are doing this on the blood of the innocent children that were slain. If anyone had an ounce of sense, they would realize that these people are monsters and do not care about anything other than their own power, and if people die in the process, then to them; "so be it"

In related news, reports that the Senate is making progress on a framework are leaking out. The current rumors are: funding for mental health, more red flag laws, storage and background check bolstering. The red flag laws sit with me as well as the no-fly lists do, so it'll be interesting to see what that little ferret Graham does with Dicky Blumenthal on it.
I could see Senate voting on that and sending it to the House for passage, burying the House bills - if that's what's ultimately in it. It gives the Dems a W, but a weak one and one that's going to get buried with the recession and $8 gas.

Red-flag laws sound nice to some on paper, but how do we craft them so they cannot be misused, as they surely will be? Unfortunately, I don't believe enough Congressmen share my concern.

Tough call for the Dem's, do something 'constructive' or act like they tried really, really hard to do something constructive so they can use that as a fundraiser talking point.

And I would argue that on this one menuvere, both sides truly are the same
