‘Grins and glocks’: Orthodontist offers free gun with Invisalign treatment

A Wake Forest orthodontist is offering a free Glock 19 or gun range membership to recipients of an Invisalign promotion this week.

A viewer, who did not want to be named, raised concern about the promotion in an email to Nexstar's WNCN, calling the promotion "insane."

It was only sent to people already on the mailing list for a nearby gun club/range. Doesn't seem that insane to send it to people that have already expressed an interest in firearms.

The idea of a gun club sharing their mailing list with outside parties concerns me more than the promotion. I assume the club's terms of membership probably have some provision that says, "By joining this club, you consent to us sharing your contact info for marketing purposes" or something like that.

But I still don't like it.
