Found some .38-40's

    Cleaning out my dad's old ammo box I found some original, unfired .38-40 cartridges. They are probably close to 100 years old. Worth anything?

    I believe there are websites dedicated to cartridge collecting. You might try there. Headstamp information and bullet style would be important.

    the empty boxes are worth something usually,so loaded ammo with nice boxes,..if that is the case..yes,I'd say they have value to a collector.
