Afternoon, everyone!

I work at an FFL in Oregon, and we've been trying to get ahold of OSP or the ATF all day (with no success) to answer this question:

If an individual is delayed and eventually approved, from which date (of delay or approval) do they have 30 days to pick up their firearm before another background check has to be run?
We have an individual whose background check was submitted and delayed over a month ago, but they were approved less than a month ago.

They have to get the gun within 30 days of the date in box 17 (when they originally filled out the paperwork). Otherwise the form is "expired" under the federal regulations.
