It's not Sig. It's FedEx policy now. So if anything requires an adult signature in regards to firearm items/accessories or whatever you will have to scan your DL. I may be wrong but that's how I am interpreting it….

That's correct to my knowledge, each time FedEx Express or Ground comes by the shop they've been asking to scan an employee ID.

Most likely because it was a part it would not require a signature - FedEx's new policy only replies to shipments requiring adult signatures:

You can call it whatever you want. I'm simply passing on information that I received that could influence/effect other gun owners.

Dealt with this on a powder shipment recently, if you have an updated address sticker on your ID the FedEx scanner may not recognize and they won't deliver. If this happens remove the sticker and scan the original barcode printed on the ID.

When I asked the driver this he said had to be state issued photo ID, voter ID is not acceptable. No state issued, scannable, photo ID = no package.
