Good cover story. I wonder what really happened. My paranoid guess is that it was a "live exercise" conducted by some super secret or otherwise governmental agency testing the weaknesses and vulnerability of many of today's electronical gadgets.

You'll notice every electronic gizmo you buy has an FCC Declaration of Conformity that says something along the lines of, "this device must not cause harmful interference with other devices, and this device MUST accept outside interference even interference that causes undesirable operation."
