Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Good question and I've been wondering about it lately so I appreciate the comments. I think it is personal preference and depends more on the quality of the individual model itself rather than the overall mechanical design ie DA/SA vs. SF. Both designs can perform well or poorly.
for what it's worth (not much), my Sig P229, Sig P226, Sig P220, Sig SP2022, Beretta 96FS, Beretta 92M9A1 and HK P30L have never had a single problem. My Springfield 5.25 Competition 45acp which I've shot maybe a hundred times had a light primer strike and failed to fire a couple weeks ago.[/QUOTE]
I know this is 5 months late, but your line up is pretty much identical to mine. I like the way you think.
