From Tennessee comes this story of officer on squirrel violence. Seems last Thursday, former officer Jody Putnam just happened to be inside the Dollar General store at the same time employees noticed a squirrel inside. Officer Putnam, being the squirrel hating fellow he is, went ahead & took a potshot at the squirrel. After missing with the gun the now ex-officer pepper-sprayed the varmint, which reportedly did in fact kill the squirrel, as well as send all the customers in the store coughing & hacking, outside into the open air. The ex-officer was reportedly fired for refusing to file a written statement, which is required anytime an officer discharges their gun.
