This is pretty crazy considering it started as shop lifting.

South Beach: Shop lifter with a knife in Victoria's Secret gets caught and takes a mom and daughter (I think) hostage. And a Miami Beach cop shoots the hostage taker.

I've been looking to see if I can find the unedited video but no luck yet. This is a news broadcast so obviously they aren't going to show the ending. Looks pretty chaotic and terrifying for the young girl.
