Portlandia Public Schools just banned all guns from their campuses including conealed carry effective immediately. Hope somebody told the criminals. These people are deranged. Concealed carry folks are background checked, fingerprinted and have training. Criminals do not. What idiots. Well at least now they can continue to brainwash the kids with CRT and gender fluidity training now that there won't be any law abiding concealed carry moms and dads around.

It seems to follow the mentality that, for liability reasons, it is preferrable to allow a gunman to kill 20 or 30 innocents than it is to have even the slimest chance of some lawfully gun weiling school employee cause even the slightest accidental injury against even 1.

They seem entirely oblivious to the fact that they are simply advertising a free kill zone for future "blaze of glory" types. Stoopidity enmasse.

Last I heard, "Kumbaya" does little to stop bullets.

Not that it would happen, but I would love to see a community get organized and have a string of armed parents encircle the school grounds in demonstration. Let the media and law enforcement try and explain away 40-50 parents of students being arrested (and no one for those students to return home to at the end of the day) for feeling the need to protect their children because the schools prevent anyone else from being a first responder... until after parents are left with having to identify and claim bodies.

As time passes there are more and more examples disproving that old theory.

-Teenage boy allows friend to shoot him multiple times at close range while wearing improvised body type armor... just for gits and shiggles. Dies on scene.
-Man rushes to attack LEO with a hatchet. Pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
-Man creates homemade explosives in his garage. Blew off both his arms. He won't be doing THAT again.

Oh OK I get it now.. if you have a concealed permit obtained legally with BGC fingerprint and shown the ability to fire your wrapon for self/public defense you cannot enter, but it doesn't explicitly say, no guns ubtaianed illegally can not, so as long as you are 1 a criminal with mental disorder wanting to shoot innocent children with your illegally acquired firearm, you are more than welcome here. The sad thing is, a lot of these parents are the ones voting for this crap because, they are sold on the idea that if guns were restricted to all, these kind of things wouldn't happen. They can't seem to fathom the idea that criminals do not obey laws!

Welp, first it's Potland, so it's very hard left rudder leftist, second, it's PPB, so it's ran by communits pinko sh!thead's/former hippi-dippy types left over from the bad old days of the 60's, and thirdly, PPB will ALWAYS show up just in the nick of time to put up the yellow tape and take statements! Lastly, Sheriff Reese is the epitome of law and order, so you can count on him having several deputies standing around with their thumbs up their jacksies doing nuffin while any shooter is shootin up a school full of innocent kiddies! Only three of PPB's schools have a chance, having been hardened against such an attack, Ben Franklin, Roosevelt, and Marshall! All others have yet to get the funding for the massive rebuild!
