Ooh, thanks for the schooling... no kidding. lol. This thread is about "concealable carry" and many people carry their "concealable carry" gun into the field.
Varmints such as the coyote are easily taken to 100 yards (given that the shooter can shoot) with an accurate and properly loaded 9mm.

True enough. I'm not an expert pistol marksman, so I need the .45 to make a bigger hole.
 
And don't get me wrong.. nothing but respect for the .45. For me though, when I shot a Colt 1911 in .45acp, I mainly shot cast by me 200 grain Hensley and Gibbs SWC's that were plenty strong enough to function (new and unmodified) reliably.. I totally remember having to use the slide at 100 to hit though the gun was a one holer at 25 yards.
I like flat shooting guns and a 9mm is flat shooting and will carry energy well, given the right bullets/load.. factory or not.
