I responded to a Armslist item for sale that I thought was probably a scam. I got a email in return and the scammers always want to know where you are. I played along and the next thing I knew the email I sent and received were both gone from my mail. I hope someone hasn't hacked into my computer?? How did that happen?

Did you check your junk mail folder? I wouldn't think it would be there but...

Another thing to remember is never use your real email address.
The Spamex Disposable Email Address Service. Protection from spam, anonymous email, and much, much more. It's cheap and if you get spam you can always turn off the email address.
It looks like you disappeared into thin air.

example Outook is a client. webmail is on the "cloud" you can use either to read mails.


The idea is to check the other place for those messages. I used to have problems getting messages to a local client when I had checked them on the web.

That has happend to me occasionally, and I go up and click "Refresh Mail" or "Refresh Mailbox" and it usually shows up. But I don't have Comcast.
