Composite Stock Filler Material

What types of materials do the major after-market stock companies fill their stocks with? Specifically composite stock models. I'm looking to make my own composite stock and need a point of reference to begin my research.

They don't fill.

They start with an aluminum or titanium bar design and then wrap the outside and contour to what they want.

I have a kevlar or carbon fiber stock that's wrapped around an aluminum spine.
