I was right in the middle of everything on the airport access road. My guess would be closer to 400-500 people at that location alone. There was another group on the opposite corner of the airport with a few hundred more and other random groups around the city. I'd say 1000-1500 in total.

Lots of people, protestor out on the freeway and across the field. Saw an estimate of 8,000 but I think that was a bit high. Anyway it was a good turn out and ya'll should be proud of those guys and gals down there that put this on.

It seemed to be about 3000 throughout the town might have been more.
Some issues were police last minute changed the viewing area along Edenbower, so many people did not see the large groups closer to Steven. Being I live here my educational guess was 1800 in the airport area. Maybe 400 near the highschool and maybe 800-1000 elsewhere along the route. I cant say where the work was located but there was at least 50-60 right there so the 200 is way off. There was also maybe 20-30 at the college as well when I was there.

Truth is, it was the opportunity to hold yet another 2016 campaign endorsement that brought him to the PNW... a chance to push gun control on the Roseburg event was simply icing ion the cake.

I'm with Caveman. If the local Roseburg authorities had an about face on putting politics aside, why can't Barry? Because he is a socialist ideologue who, like his other Saul Alinsky disciples, never, ever under any circumstance, let an opportunity to advance the agenda be wasted.

There is only one way to deal with snakes... and that does not involve the use of a firearm.

Now... get them ALL to drag arse up/down/over to Salem when the next ORGANIZED event is scheduled.... HEAR THE ROAR!!
I agree, but Salem wont get it done going up their gathering and then leaving. Next year needs to be state wide events, in fact we should have a Rally every weekend in the respective areas.
One week, North, Central, South, East , West, Etc that would wake people up and maybe more but these rallies up in Salem strategically have done very little. And then we have people say in Medford, Coos Bay, Bend which by the way the Antis do go to. I know OFF is up north, but the problems are not just up North, seems we need a Campaign this year, not rallies. Just my opinion. Perhaps the Oathkeepers that are all over the state could take a lead on this and go state wide.

So what did Barry have to say anyway? Did he give a speech or just visit with officials and families? I've been poking around the i-net looking for details or maybe a video clip.

My hats off to all the folks who lined the streets and overpasses to send him the clear message... the sediment he knew was there but could care less about. I don't think we'll ever see another like him... God willing.

Not that I disagree with a rally..............it is the "vote" that counts. Get a real pro-gun, 2ndA candidate in office. Only one way to get that person there. Your neighbors need to be registered to vote............and pro 2ndA. You need to be registered to vote & vote.

Foreverlost,

They look at a letter or email as equal to about ten people thinking the same way. When thousands get off their buts and protest then that is a movement. If 10,000 would have shown up in that small community it would make them shudder in DC.

People have power, they just talk themselves out of doing the right thing.

we should block the bridge in Portland on a National Gun Day like the green people did and the marijuana people did to celebrate.......then sue the city of Portland for discrimination when we are ALL arrested for demonstrating on the bridge
like the Green and Mj crowds were allowed to do

So true Jim, it's because most gun people really believe others will make the sacrifice for them......
Due to the fact that if certain people (relatives, neighbors or bosses) might see them at a "Gun Protest or rally"...... OMG that would be disastrous!!!:eek::eek:
I'm not one of those people, never have been and never will!!!
