I just bought the identical rifle in question from a estate in St Thomas Ontario Canada it is marked with the same plate on the stock PVG No 1

There is one floating around here somewhere. It's been a couple years if memory serves me correctly. He was a great guy with a great knowledge base.

I was trying to find the location of his shop and instead came across this; Rest in Peace, Larry Langdon I can't say for 100% that it is him, but there are too many coincidences for it not to be; Shop fire in Bellevue, move to Idaho, family business, tattoos, age, dog's name, etc... So sad to...

It is good to remember old friends who have gone....though the thoughts and memories may be bittersweet...
