I've saved a small fortune reloading.. pistol, rifle, shotgun. Where it really pays off is items like my hand cast shotgun slugs, which just happen to be darn accurate and have the hard surface penetration of a M855 steel core 5.56

Do tell...:)

old post bump for more info...I bought a saiga last year and was thinking about starting to reload shotgun again. I went over to dig out my 25 year old MEC from the attic and its GONE! My dad thinks he Goodwilled it. WTF. Anyway I was thinking of doing some casting out of any lead I can scrounge so I'm curious if this is just lead slugs or do they have a special kick?
