Beretta Neos striker hits inconsistently

I am having some issues with my Neos. The striker seems to hit the primer inconsistently. I would say that between 2 and 4 rounds out of most magazines will fail to fire. When I examine the cartridge there is only a faint striker mark. That is, the striker did not hit it with enough force. When I put the same cartridge in and fire again, most of the time it will fire.

This is the case with most of the ammo I've tried (Rem gold bullet, peters, blazer). I have not tried any minimags through it yet. My P22, on the other hand, happily chews through all of this ammo without any hiccup.

What could be the problem with the Neos?
