AUSTRIA – GUN LAWS

Austrians require permits for semi-automatic pistols but not to buy a revolver. Moreover law abiding responsible adults have a specific legal right to a permit for a semi-automatic pistol for home defense.

AUSTRIAN CARRY PERMITS

Permits to carry are much more available to law abiding Austrians than to Americans in New York, Massachusetts or California. For a population of over 37 million, California has about 40,000 carry permits. For its population of around seven million, Austria has over 200,000 carry permits.

Certainly not ideal, but acceptable. Considering they don't have a Second Amendment, those Austrians are doing pretty darn good when it comes to gun rights. Its ironic to think that a law-abiding Austrian has an easier time buying a semi-auto handgun and getting a carry permit than a law abiding resident of California.

Actually, they prefer to sever the head, rather than cut out the heart, of infidels.

Interesting enough, back in the 17th Century they did not decapitate fellow Muslims for crimes. Instead, they were strangled to death.

When the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire returned in failure and defeat after the invasion of Austria in 1683, the Sultan ordered him strangled with ropes.

You know, 1683 is barely 100 years before the time our nation was created.

What if Muslims had invaded our country? Burned towns, and killed defenseless women and children simply for being Christian? Our nation's view of Islam might be different today.

Swedes and Germans have begun to push back against the Muslims, The Governments have now admitted this is about population replacement and are gearing-up to grind down the PPL who they swore to protect; but hey, it's Socialism, the citizens can't expect that they actually have "Rights" under their enlightened form of government. I have extended family in Sweden. I can tell you that their tolerance certainly doesn't apply to gun owners. They think we're lunatics over here. So I like to post photos of my guns for them to enjoy Oh, and they think Obama is just the bee's knees.

My dad's family - well, on the male side - left Sweden around 850 AD and never went back. I've been there, though, and liked it a lot - flying around in a Viggen gives you a whole new perspective on things, especially when the owner keeps it in his garage overnight, ready for work at any time...
