I used to shoot a traditional bow when I was high scrool age. Knew some guys and gals that did also... my best friend was a competitor. Later in life, as a young married man after moving to La Grande, I got interested in archery hunting and bought a compound bow... Never harvested a game animal with it but I did thump a few feral cats with a rubber tipped flu flu arrow.
Nowadays I can't pull a bow that has enough pull to hunt with. Oh well, I can't walk in the woods either, so there's that.
