So, since I'm having sex by myself, does that mean they aren't listening to me?"recordings of couples having sex"
@CLT65 You need to read my story about Alexa...I know I'll sound like a grumpy old man, and I'm not even that old, but I've never liked things like Siri, Alexa, and "hey Google". I think they are solutions to nonexistent problems, technology for technology's sake, and of little practical value. I turn all of it off on my phone, and will not have Alexa or the like in my house.
The data collected is not personalized. There is no identification attached to the data. How is Apple supposed to troubleshoot and improve Siri's responses without someone listening to the interchanges that take place? The analysts who do this kind of work are supposed to keep whatever they hear confidential and not go running to journalists with tales of what they are hearing. I hope the "whistleblower" never works again...anywhere. And this "journalist" too. He knows better, but he likes the clicks.
Hey, if they used tortoise noises of two tortoises having sex for the Jurassic Park Trex sounds. Maybe Apple will use what they have on my wife and I for a future upcoming movie!
Ill be famous!

You mean she doesn't scream, "Give it to me, baby!" over and over?Siri doesn't have a response algorithm to, "fap fap fap"....
For now...The data collected is not personalized.
And there it is, right there...They're using the audio for more than just Siri. They just don't even tell the contractors what the data is really being used for.
