How do you stop the lethal actions of some individual immediately? Sometimes you gotta shoot until they stop their actions. Sometimes that means really shooting them to stop their actions NOW. Lots of times that results in immediate death. Sad.
Until we can come up with something that instantly puts somebody down without killing them, killing them will continue. As far as the free kill zone goes ... YEP. As long as free kill zones BY DESIGN AND INTENT continue, killings will continue at well.
Where will this all end? Probably when all teachers and school employees are certified POST trained and experienced law enforcement officers as well as certified educated licensed teachers. Sad. All school employees will have to pack and mean it.
Or ... come up with some way to really screen and restrict and create truly safe schools. How that would be done is unknown. Another option would be to teach a class in gun use. Certified. Required. All students must be screened and then pack.

Yep. The 50 State reciprocity act will probably die in the US Senate. Probably all by design? Who knows. The deep swamp is not a swamp. It is an entire ocean. It is not filled with alligators, it is filled with Killer Whales. It is filled with unknown huge sea monsters. Its depths are unfathomable. Where is the plug?
School shootings will continue. Probably also by design? It would certainly seem so. All the gun free school zones are creating are free kill school zones. This whole situation and solution is so incredibly stupid and counter productive it rings of evil intent. Create an intolerable situation. Then have a instant worse solution.
Did you know that some high school designs are also usable as instant detainment centers? In other words lock down institution facilities. Also known as jails or prisons. Are they secure inside? No. Evil will always find a way. Are they secure outside? No again. There is no practical solution to securing entire neighborhoods.
So where are we going with all these school shootings? Are we paranoid? Are we paranoid enough? Have any studies been done trying to find some commonality from all of this madness? Peel the Onion. Ask the hard questions. Do the nasty real study on school shootings. The results might shock us. Yep. All of us.

I'd say that most problems like this used to be settled with fists back in the day.
Sad that the culture nowadays is babysat with a handheld electronic device & pills for ADHD or some other emotional symptom.
