No kidding. A few weeks ago I saw a roadkill coyote on the side of the road. It was twice the size of my German shepherd. That put it in the 180lb range. I had to look twice at it to make sure it was a coyote. This was in Sherwood on Roy Roger's Rd.

Back in the early 2000's when I lived in Juneau, the greenies whined and moaned until they shut down wolf hunting/trapping on Douglas Island. Didn't take long for the wolves to pretty much wipe out every the deer on the island.
