I am looking for a load for the maxi using Alliant's Power Pro 300-MP. Anyone have a reciepe? TIA
Here's a few from Alliant:
Alliant Powder - Reloader's Guide
Let me know how that powder works for you as I need a good load for 357 myself.
Alliant doesn't show a load for the .357MAX.
Hodgdon does though, but only in the pistol category.

You may have to change powder brands Duke.
I use 296 as my accurate load in the Max.
ah, that's what i get for reading before coffee.
Thanks guys. I've just been reading about this powder and thought it would be great in my Bellm Barreled G-2.
Supposed to bump 357 mag to 1700 fps in a 10 inch SBH.
You could almost definately just use the 357 mag load data as a starting point.
Thanks again toolfan. I am going to load a 180g a HCFPGC. I think a good starting point would be 20g.
Since you are loading cast, you might want to poke around here:

Edit to add - Looking at my lyman manual and comparing 357 mag and 357 max, 20 gr sounds pretty high.
In fact, for a bullet that heavy, that sounds dangerous.
I'd give alliant a call before loading anything.
I have Bellm bbl in the TC also, Dan wesson ss Supermag. One of the best .35 cal rounds.
Used in the midwest for Deer according to Mike Bellm
