I remember following all the latest write up on stopping power, American Handgunner magazine was a great resource. Test went on for about 20 years on what the best stopper is but what won out is what can the average cop shoot well.

125 grain 357 was the ticket for most one shot stops and it had a great following but it was very difficult for the average cop to shoot the 357 well in a gun he could carry all day.

Once Glock came along with it being the Model 10 Smith of the semi autos there was no doubt revolvers were on the way out.

Myself I really like revolvers, 6 shots creates a mindset that you better be accurate. Guys like Jerry M and his 625 shows just how could revolvers shoot. Revolvers still do the job if the job isn't a lot of targets.
