Thanks again toolfan. I am going to load a 180g a HCFPGC. I think a good starting point would be 20g.

Edit to add - Looking at my lyman manual and comparing 357 mag and 357 max, 20 gr sounds pretty high.

In fact, for a bullet that heavy, that sounds dangerous.

I'd give alliant a call before loading anything.
