Recently got the new one in the mail but haven't had a chance to look through it yet.
I like the fact that they have fault lines now instead of relying on the RO's judgment of
what is behind cover.

I have received many inquiries about the M&P Shield and whether it is or is not legal for BUG division.
.
When the 2017 rule book Rev 1 was released the Shield in 9mm fell short of making the cut. This was one of several changes made in rev 2 of the rule book.
.
However, wait for it....
.
....the 8 round mag ext floor mag put it over the height requirement of 4-5/8". For the 9mm shield to be legal for BUG you must be using the 7 round flat magazines.
.
.45 Shield users, doesn't qualify for BUG because it doesn't fit the dimensions.
