There is already a thread on it here, no need to make a new one:

Just saw that... So if they remove them amendment it instantly passes. My understanding is without the amendment you can't leave the state and return with an "assault weapon"... Just bad law all the way around.

1143 passed concurred by house headed to Gov. desk. 1240 on deck for concurrence, won't be long. I expect lots of fanfare and ceremony by sideshow Bob and Insleez on Monday or Tuesday.
Looks like fun gun sales are already shut off in anticipation.
Game over.

The ammendment they're wanting to remove is one that allows military people who are transfered/relocated to WA State to bring thier previously owned semi-autos with them when moving into WA.

Not WA residents going out of state and returning back into WA where they reside with thier grandfathered in previously owned guns before the assault weapons ban took effect. 👍

Just adding... active or retired military exemption. WA resident leaving and returning or out of stater moving in.... you're good... if they don't remove it.

IMHO, it's a wet dream that any democrat will choose to continue to side with the public and refuse to change their vote if it means killing the bill in the process.
