Sporterising, sporterisation, or sporterization refers to the practice of modifying military-type firearms either to make them suitable for civilian sporting use or to make them legal under the law.
I have an 1894 Krag rifle for sale in the original 30-40 Krag caliber. It has been sporterized; barrel cut down to 19", and had a Redfield peep sight installed (no holes extra holes drilled into receiver). I will be including a Lee reloading die set as well as a case headspace/length gauge...
