The domestic dog (Canis lupus familiaris or Canis familiaris) is a domesticated canid which has been selectively bred for millennia for various behaviors, sensory capabilities, and physical attributes.
Although initially thought to have originated as a manmade variant of an extant canid species (variously supposed as being the dhole, golden jackal, or gray wolf), extensive genetic studies undertaken during the 2010s indicate that dogs diverged from an extinct wolf-like canid in Eurasia 40,000 years ago. Being the oldest domesticated animals for the past 33,000 years, their long association with people has allowed dogs to be uniquely attuned to human behavior, as well as thrive on a starch-rich diet which would be inadequate for other canid species.
Dogs perform many roles for people, such as hunting, herding, pulling loads, protection, assisting police and military, companionship, and, more recently, aiding handicapped individuals. This impact on human society has given them the nickname "man's best friend" in the Western world. In some cultures, however, dogs are a source of meat.
I’m looking to rehome year and half old Akita. We just had a child and our dog doesn’t get the time/attention he deserves. I trust those on this site more than the general public. He is an amazing dog.Thanks.
This woman should have her dogs taken from her.

We had a seven year old female Border/Blue Heeler mix (Sasha) and want to get a second dog. We want to make sure that Sasha gets along with the new pup and doesn't feel jealous and hopefully maternal as opposed to threatened. Sasha is very needy when it comes to my wife and gets separation...
Hey Folks,
I'm moving out of Oregon finally and decided to scale down and let a lot of things go. I'll be updating this Ad this week as I rummage through my stuff.
Due to my busy schedule trying to move I won't be able to ship single items. I'd consider shipping multiple purchases.
Meet in...
Posting for my dad
Pure breed lab puppies: 5 black females. 1 chocolate female. 3 black males. Both parents on site. Second litter for the pair. The puppies will be 8 weeks on valentines and ready to go home.
Just bought this a few months ago for my dog but he wants nothing to do with it so I'll have to get or make a ramp. Hopefully your dog is smarter than mine.
Paid $160. Works with 2" receiver and is adjustable for height and step depth. Folds up flat against the bumper when driving.
I tried it on, didn't fit. Brand new still in the packaging. Will take what I paid for it or will put up as trade towards firearms/ammo. Price is $149.

This one is getting waaay off topic, but I am hoping there may be some people on this forum who may be to provide some direction. I have only ever owned one dog of my own in my life. He was a yellow lab and that was almost 30 years ago. The folks had a lhasso apso during my teen years, but I am...
Great dog crate. I haven't slept in it yet, but my dog seems to enjoy it much more than the metal one. Probably for a dog not bigger than 80lbs, but ill let you decide.
I will trade for 22lr.

23 x 25 x 36” collapsible dog crate lightly used, includes cover and adjustable divider panel.. Crate has two doors, side and end. For small to medium size dogs. Our dog outgrew this quickly. Early on the vet told us she was ‘petite’ and would probably top out between 50-60 lbs. She is now 75-80...
My daughter is in the market for a new dog. Ideally female and a mid size dog. Otherwise pretty open to breads other than pit bulls which our renters insurance policy does not allow. We are kn Camas. Thanks.
