We had a ball today on a small Southwest Washington stream that just dropped into shape perfectly.
Not a guide but a friend who knows how to hunt steelhead.

And to think, I was just getting ready to text you, to see if there were any rivers in your area in good enough shape for some knucklehead to maybe luck into a fish or two. I guess now I know.

That would be my choice since I'm happy with what I build... No store bought guns for me anymore...

I'm looking at over unders right now, so it would be a little impractical for me to try and build. I will note that I have been looking into getting a side charging AR build started for my first go around. Too much happening in life at the moment to focus on more than a day on the river or range tho (if I can even manage that). Seems the best I can really do of late is a half hour fishing before I head to a store to do some stress shopping.
