This is a moose we saw in Glacier, taken from about a mile away with my spotting scope.

I can't remember if I've posted this bruiser yet or not. He passed through an area I've been hunting for a couple years. It's the highest valley on this mountain and it got so dry in the summer all the game moved out and I never found out where he went.

We got 'em by the buttload here is eastern WA. They burrow into the banks of irrigation canals and cause blow-outs seems every year.
You'd think those li'l bastards would learn, but no...

That's a nice catch! Only a couple of times in my life have I seen an owl in the wild. Heard them a few times, is all.

Not a huge amount but if you keep your eyes open you might eventually see one - or their burrows.

We also have Wolverines - and dang few of them as well but I saw one many years ago up on Paulina Peak.

With the heavy rains and flooding a river otter has been seen all over se Portland.

River otters are some of our favorites. When we're at the lake they come to the fish cleaning station and clean up after the fish are filleted. We see them on a regular basis at night on our dock walk after dinner, running all over the docks. The whole family plays together.
Here I've enticed one to come out from under the dock, at the fish cleaning station, with a perch carcass.

Generally it's a family of four. Sometimes they'll have three pups.

Stumbled upon Mr Badger in the back yard a few minutes ago

a badger attacked and flattened a front tire on my inlaws tractor one time. they had a place over by Monument. I killed it on our next trip over, mother-in-law was scared to death of it.
