This is a picture I took while hunting in Wyoming in December 2013. I had a cow elk tag, so that's why these suckers are still alive and well...

Just an adolescent owl from the area around the cabin in Wyoming. There's no zoom being used. Just walked up on him. Shortly afterward, he jumped down and hopped into the willows. If he'd been much older, he would have just flown away. He's over a foot tall from the tail tip to the top of his head.

Can your "backyard" deer bust-out a visitor who uses different dryer sheets?

When ours spot a visitor, they circle down wind and sniff to see if the visitor belongs....
