Why Do You Need An AR-15/AK-47/Military Style Rifle etc?

So this Ban/confiscation, are they going to compensate anyone for their financial loss? I own about a Dozen AR's of various calibers and maybe sixty magazines (which all cost money) and I don't own a bolt gun in those calibers so they would need to buy my ammo too. How much will they pay for a Glock? Since all semiauto's can accept a extended magazine they will all have to be turned in. How much for a custom 1911? Regular 1911? Taurus Spectrum. a 1022? M-1 Carbine?
My Henry 22 Magnum holds eleven in the tube. My Henry Pump 22LR holds 16. or will they pass?
