Ad in simple topical isopropyl alcohol. In standard bottles & spray mist bottles*. Normally less expensive than Purell & such.

*used to be able to buy spray/mist bottles at Walgreens & such. Dunno if still available or not. We bought a bunch off of Amazon a while back, as at that time pharmacies were out of stock.

Use spray/mist as you would hand sani. We keep them all over, truck, suv, kitchen, baths, range bags etc.

We have 3 bottles in the house and more in the "box" usually used for wiping down phones, remotes etc. Great stuff. The hand sanitizer would be to set by the front door and use on our way into the house. Just easier.

If one enjoys panic, this new development is great news.

If one finds hysteria not to one's taste, calm the eff down.

Also, alcohol consumed in mass quantities provides instantaneous relief, but do stay at home, no blotto driving. It's very calming/soothing and helpful 'AT HOME' only.

That is excellent advice.
However, I must admit times like this is when I really miss having a tv.

This is a dry run for the coming biological warfare. Clyde Lewis covered all this on Ground Zero on Tuesday night.

This was really only an 80/20 smartass/serious post. I was driving home from Puyallup Tuesday night and was listening to GZ because I usually find it pretty entertaining. What Clyde was alluding to was that China is not our friend and seems to always be the source of these super-viruses that have characteristics of being lab created but "accidentally" released, then blamed on nature. His assertion was that it could be possible that these viruses are engineered to be borderline deadly enough (very young, very old, otherwise weak) that they will get CDC and WHO attention and tracking, but without being so deadly that it kills everyone. This would be done in an effort to more accurately predict the effectiveness and spread of a biological agent intended to either kill or severely weaken a targeted population at a specifically strategic moment in history.

Whether you find the idea too conspiratorial or not, still gives you something to think about.

It is made in China, so even though it may look like a real pandemic, it is actually just a cheap knockoff, like SARS was. I was in Thailand during the SARS outbreak, and found the worldwide overreaction amusing.

The population density in major Chinese cities is beyond the comprehension of most Americans that have never seen anything outside of LA, NYC or others. 24 million people live in Shanghai, 21 million in Beijing...just those 2 cities combined have more people than the entire state of CA. Until Chinese deaths start hitting tens of thousands, nothing to really see here.

Edited to correct China to Thailand.. I was in China for a month during H5N1 (avian flu), and Thailand for 43 days at the height of SARS... so many "epidemics" get panic press, it's hard to keep them all straight, lol. Both ended up non events in the bigger picture.

She contracted the coronavirus, but no hospital would admit her because there's no bed, just prescribed her some medications and come back to check later, but she's having serve breathing problem..........

I am not trying to spread misinformation, I merely translated these, so make your own judgement...given I have people I care about residing in China, I have to look at this as the worst case scenario and prepared them the best I can whether these information circulating social media are true or hysteria or fake. If anyone want proof, I can upload face masks receipt purchased last few days (~200) as well as postal office receipt showing they are enroute to China.

Just my two cents and hope more people can see the truth for themselves and help the poor souls infected and unaware of the situation in China.
