Who is David Olofson?

I used to have an old Jennings that would not fire more than one round without jamming. Does that mean it was not a gun? Does that mean I could have carried it without a permit?

Umm....ok....here's the quote from the affidavit:

"Kiernike said that he had fired the firearm in the three round burst position twice, and that it had jammed after the third try." So, this person fired the weapon three times. Two of the three times it work exactly as it had been ILLEGALLY MODIFIED to do. That's pretty reliable for a home cooked machine gun. Even so, "reliability" as you define it means nothing. It's all about intent and the fact that the weapon DID FUNCTION AS A FULL AUTO. You have absolutely no understanding of the law and how it pertains to machine guns.

If you disagree with the law, that's fine. Say "I disagree with the law and it should be changed." That's respectable. But to defend this guy only makes other 2nd amendment activists look like booger eating morons.

Do us all a favor, and let this idiot serve his deserved prison time in peace.

A machine gun continues to fire as long as you depress the trigger. Olofson's rifle fires 2-3 rounds before jamming when the switch is set in the third position. Clearly NOT a machine gun.
