What are you going to do, when the BAN, is put into practice (law of the land)? I don't know? I like to shoot blackpowder, so guess I'm safe there. I know a lot of folks enjoy semi-autos. What to do with them if they become illegal?

I will likely be buying more ammo when I can get it. I don't own an AR or any 30-round mags. I have quite a few 25-rounders for my 10/22 though, and should be buying more while I can. However, it really depends on how far this lunacy goes. Like many on here, I have a family to protect; furthermore, I have to consider how they would fare without me. Fortunately, I live in a great place, in a great neighborhood (good people), with people who are well-armed and know how to take care of themselves and others.

What am I going to do... It really all depends. Most likely, I will do whatever it takes to remain a responsible, law-abiding citizen of my country. If I can do that and still own 30 round magazines I definitely will, but I'm not going to risk jail time over it.

There's not really a lot they could actually get passed in Washington that will affect me very much. I obey the laws of my State and Nation, even the ones that I don't like. Maybe that makes me the crazy one, maybe not.

Hmm, well it will probably be a Tuesday so I suspect the sun will rise and I will get up and go to work.

I will continue to write my legislatures to let them know how I feel. I will vote at every opportunity I have. I will continue to preach liberty @Appleseed and any other soap box I can find. I will continue to stock my shelves with supplies to help my family get through the hard times that are sure to come.

I will not be registering anything or turning anything in. If more is required of me... In the words of Cpt. Issac Davis 'take good care of the children'

Hire a lawyer, or fleet of lawyers and fight it in the courts as hard and thoroughly as I possible can fight it.

Never give up, never surrender!

Why would I do anything? Under the current existing laws, I am not required to account for anything I may or may not have have purchaced. If that were to change (you know, like the 4th and 5th amendment being gone as well), I have a very bad memory.

Well, one thing, I am teaching my children well. They're more likely to suffer more for this than I.

Don't give up the ship yet.

Keep writing and calling your elected officials, both state and federal. Nothing is passed YET the ship has not sunk they are ready to launch a bunch of torpedoes that are ready to fire are in the tubes. WE CAN STOP THEM, IT IS NOT OVER.

Worst case they pass some EO's and laws be it federal or state we can drag them to court, and battle more there.

DO NOT GIVE UP YET

I'm an amputee from way, way back and I can't run very fast so, I guess my (2) 50 BMG's, (2) Ruger Mini's, (1) Benelli shotgun will have to do my talking for me. Oh no, did I just say I have weapons that are semi, hold 10 rounds or more and will never be turned over, and never registered! Me and my big mouth! Bullets, Band-Aids and Beans, what the hell more do you need? Keep your powder dry! God, I love the smell of Napalm in the morning!!!!!!!!

yes, I got a leg shot off too. Never thought the American people would let a wanna-be socialist use executive privilage to chop up the Constitution.

I've contacted all of my elected officials.... local, state and federal and renewed my NRA membership and hopefully everyone else here in this forum has done so and encourage your family, friends and co-workers to do the same. We as law abiding citizens and gun owners can no longer stand quietly on the sidelines, afraid of being politically incorrect, or offending someone. The truth is I have been that quiet person on the sidelines in the past, only sharing my views or beliefs with fellow conservative friends, outdoorsmen or firearm enthusiast, but now I am offended by the liberals trying to take away my (our) 2A rights and I will no longer be quiet or stay in the safety of other like minded individules. Let's not only talk with each other, but let's talk and share our views, opinions and beliefs outside of this forum letting everyone know we are here, we are many and we are strong.

Ok, I'm off my soap box now...... Make it a great day!

Moving to another state always sounds good in theory....but where exactly is this mythical state that still " respects your rights " ? Idaho ? Montana ? How long will it really be before they aren't fit to live in either ? How many of us have the job skills to make out well in one of those states, assuming we can get a job at all ? I'm guessing not too many.

Most of us are just gonna have to suck it whether we want to or not.

You will find that there are many pro gun states out there if you look. Arizona is one that comes to mind. I understand it's not feasible for everybody to just get up and move but you have to weigh your options. After all, there is no place on earth that you can live and be 100% happy.

Or... dare i even say it... 100% free?
