I get that land is premium over here but still. Over in Mason County and further west there is so much open land and much of it is private property. We need a true long distance range over here, the 600 yard range in Eatonville is too short to really let fly and its funnier yet they have a .50 BMG club and their distance limited even there. You have to just explore every forest service road and hope you get lucky to find a spot far enough away from everyone else to enjoy it. I just found one today on a long unused forestry service road that is just a straight road to nowhere without finding shell casing everywhere. That makes two on public lands that I cannot reveal because obvious reasons...

What's the opinion???

I got tired of the search so I got a membership to COSSA in Oregon. 1400 yard gong range and it's open year round.
